Daniel Nadaud is an artist I met in CREDAC, Ivry sur Seine, in 1988. We have a lot edited together (prints, books etc.) The project for the poster evolved. He was going through a very dark period and wanted to use a negative text, telling a terrible and humiliating history lived by a young artist (himself?). He plans to print on the back in small almost unreadable and on the front, very big NOTHING SHOULD BECOME ALL, that is to say nothing of (the brain of the artist) must spring all (the work that will remain in history).
I suggested that, after discussions to show prominently text and decided to print duplex on tracing to better integrate the two texts.
